About the Rivermen Hockey Academy
Est. 2015

The Langley School District provides a School Based Hockey Academy program where players can develop their individual skills utilizing the coaching staff and players from the BCHL Langley Rivermen.

Not only will players work on individual skills, but they will also be exposed to Combine Testing so that their speed, transition, ability, puck handling, and shot speed can be monitored and improved upon.

Two Choice programs:
  • RE Mountain Secondary - students take this program as a PE course and train during class time
  • Yorkson Creek Middle - students attend from 7:30 - 8:30 AM in the mornings to train at the LEC. They are then transported back to school (slightly late) to begin class.
